It appears that the management of the H&H have left the pub and it will not be reopening until at least next week. Sorry for the short notice but we have only just found out by chance ourselves.

We know that a good number of our fans were intending to attend the gig so we would appreciate it if you would SPREAD THE WORD among yourselves.

June 2011 Update

Hi everyone

Just a quick update for those of you that use this blog site from time to time. We hope that you are keeping in touch with REWIND through our web site, facebook and Mr Gig.

The first half of 2011 has been busy for us and we have had some really great gigs and parties.

A big big thank you to all of you out there that supported us and made the gigs so great!!

During May, June and July we have a few holidays coming up and gigs are a little spread out. However, we will still be looking for new material and trying out new numbers.

Any Requests????   

Looking forward to the second half of the year, we are pretty busy and we look forward to seeing everyone at the gigs. If you haven't been to see us yet come along and say hello we are sure that you will have a great time. Keep an eye on the web site and sign up to our facebook page if you want to know where we are performing.

If you want to book us then please get in touch, there are a few spots left this year but they go fairly quickly.  Most of our work is from venues contacting us and you will note that we usually get asked back time and time again; there's a very good reason for this!!!

November 2010 update

Hi everyone
It's been a long while since I updated this blog site as we were hoping that the facebook site together with the rewind-online.co.uk website would keep you all up to date. 

So please link to our facebook site and join as friends and we will keep you in touch with all the news and gigs.

However, you can also track our open gigs through mrgig.com (many do) and link from there to our web sites.

So what's been happening? As all of you that have joined us at our gigs know we have had a lot of fun and some great times.

You'll remember the girls who have entertained us with their dancing, singing??, tamborine shaking (I really can't say playing) and the stage invasions. Remember the guys and girls that have sung with us, not only the chorus but the whole of the songs in the second half of the set. You know who you are and we thank you.

As well as our favourite pub haunts like the Beauty of Bath, Red Lion at Charing Heath and The Harrow we have enjoyed playing at some new venues such as the Carpenters Arms at Eastling, The Sun at Bredgar and The Anchor & Hope in Ash near Wrotham.

The Sun fest on August bank holiday Sunday was touch and go because of the weather but for us the rain stayed away and the sun and the people came out. Here's a picture...

 Many thanks to all those that have supported us and we look forward to meeting you all again soon. To everyone else, come and see us you might be surprised!

Before signing off..... We have turned down many gigs this year (where we were already booked). If we have declined your gig please accept our apology. Please remember that we only play a limited number of gigs every year, don't wait for us to call you! 

Update January 2010

Just a note to update you all, I realised that the previous update was a while ago....

At the end of November we played at the Beauty of Bath. It was packed and everyone was up for a good time. It had been a while since we had played a pub gig and it was sooo much fun. Thanks to everyone who was there for making it so easy; I think that you all sang more of the set than Neil did!!! 

Early December we played a freebee to raise money for the NSPCC. The event was organised by a wonderful person called Laura supported by her friends and family. More than £1400 was raised for the charity and everyone had a really fun evening.

Just before Christmas we played a Christmas event at the Abbey school in Faversham. We were all pleasantly surprised with the excellent venue. Having played at the school a very, very long time ago we were expecting the school hall with all of its accoustic challenges. We were therefore overjoyed to play in the canteen hall with what we thought were very good accoustics. It was a wonderful evening and it was a joy to play.

REWIND have another private event lined up for the 9th of January. Can't say much more as it's a surprise for someone!!!!!

To kick off 2009 we are playing some private parties and.........

We are getting more and more people (and venues) asking about future gigs and where they can get to see us. So for those who are not aware of our unusual approach here's a heads up.

REWIND are a group of experienced guys who have played in many different bands over the years and have done the three gigs per week relentless approach.

REWIND was formed to ensure that we and our audience enjoy every gig that we play by keeping the experience fresh and fun. Part of the strategy to achieve this is to keep the number of gigs to one or maybe two per month. This approach induces strong withdrawal feelings in us and we just can't wait for the next live gig to get our fix.

REWIND play both pub and private gigs and this means that if we have a couple of private parties we disappear from the pub scene for a couple of months. But do not fear... we will be back... we love the pub scene and will always support it when we can. As our fans know, we have introduced several new pub venues to the live music scene.

What a great venue!!!

We will be back there on 29 June 07 so get it in your diary.

From the bands perspective the sound was great, probably the best venue for sound that we've played. It must be the low ceilings, carpets and soft furnishings and it's a big place.

The audience was great - thanks for the encores! We had lots of positive feedback from you and everyone really enjoyed the evening.
